When the thermostat reaches the low temps its time to pull out all those adorable hats, gloves, and scarves. I love the way children look in any type of hat…and the way it frames the face…here are two girls who wear the hats well.

I’ve been going through my photos to decide which shoots need to go onto an external hard drive when I came across some photos I liked even though they weren’t really in focused or centered but still kept because there was something I liked about them. Here’s another one of my daughter…she’s gorgeous at any […]
My honey said the sweetest things on Facebook today about his family and the people that matter the most. It doesn’t necessarily mean blood when it comes to family…although we do love our blood relatives through thick and thin {well we try to at least} you can find another form of family in the strangest […]
I had a family photo shoot a couple days back…worried about the weather…rained all day…but when it came down to the photo shoot the rain stopped…someone was on my side. The family’s middle daughter is a high school senior who does not want her senior pictures taken. To my surprise I thought this was a […]
I love getting a photo session where you can see all the sides there is to an individual…especially in a high school senior. Emily loves the outdoors, anything animal print, and of course soccer! I have personally seen her play soccer for several years now and hope she sticks with it throughout college – Good […]
Once in awhile I will enter a photo in iHeartfaces weekly photo challenge http://www.iheartfaces.com/2011/12/photo-challenge-pets-2/#more-7031. This weeks theme is “Furry Faces”. I have cats and dogs and tons of photos of our little furry guys but for some reason the first image that came to mind is that of “Lucy” my daughter’s pet hamster. One day […]
This weeks photo challenge over at iheartfaces http://www.iheartfaces.com/2011/12/photo-challenge-feet/#more-6921 is feet…now my first reaction was barefeet…but I suddenly remembered a picture my daughter (she is finally growing a passion for photography….YEAH!) took while on vacation and I remember the feeling I got when looking at the picture… the feeling I wanted to be there in the picture lost […]
This is the last of Shay’s family photo session…she kept a different day for her brothers and parents. Her parents were such a joy…Dad was a little hesitate {after just one click of the camera he moved out of his pose thinking they were done and ready for the next location!} but eventually got the […]
Shay included her little cousin in the photo shoot as a surprise for her aunt and her grandparents…an excellent idea for Christmas. But besides the “cousins” in pictures she wanted to surprise her little cousin with a mini photo shoot of just her…and may I tell you she was camera friendly! The perfect model 🙂 […]
I have been falling so far behind with an unexpected surgery gone wrong and just quite haven’t had the chance to update my blog! Besides being behind in editing photos along with everyday mundane things like household chores and such its extremely difficult to play the catch up game when you still on medication and […]
I had the privilege to photograph Sarah and I absolutely love it when someone so young has so much compassion and love for life. She brought everything that was near and dear to her to incorporate her personality in every photo. My favorite photos were taken at the airport in Medina with her family’s plane!
I don’t religiously participate in photo contest but the one over at iheartfaces http://www.iheartfaces.com/2011/09/photo-challenge-school/ seemed fun and as soon as I read what the theme was I instantly had a photo in mind. My youngest daughter is the biggest fan of school. The first day she got off the bus after school she was lost […]
Took the kids for a picnic for one more time before the chilly weather is to arrive…which I am sure we still have in store more warmer weather but you never know with Ohio. I noticed the blooms are starting to change…no summer blooms in the wild. Mother nature is amazing and beautiful…the colors of […]
I don’t always enter contests but this picture was perfect for the “beautiful eye’s” over at iheartfaces http://www.iheartfaces.com/2011/08/photo-challenge-beautiful-eyes/ This is my niece who looks absolutely adorable with her big eyes in this simple photo…my niece Ally has the biggest eyes and they can just melt your heart when you look into them.
This weeks challenge is “Red”…Cardiovascular disease claims as many as 500,000 women in the United States alone each year. To raise awareness of heart disease (the #1 killer in women), the American Heart Association created Go Red For Women – so here’s to go with the theme but anything that comes to your mind when […]
Couldn’t tell you how much fun it was to do KD’s photo shoot….she absolutely loves to get her picture taken and she was a complete NATURAL!!! I bundled up so tightly because I was worried the camera would shake while I was taking the pictures forgetting she was jacketless and shivering the entire time!!!
