Meet Taylor ~ Rootstown High School Photography ~ Medina Ohio Photographer…
…I cannot say it enough how blessed I have been to capture such beautifully spiritual high seniors {and GORGEOUS} as I have this past year! WOW…is there something in the water…I had the honor to photograph Taylor’s mom’s wedding a few months back and immediately fell in love with Taylor’s infectious smile and laugh…if you could only see her when she tells a story…her whole entire face lights up and when you see her smile ~ you smile…its contagious 🙂 . I was new to the Kent area as to where the good locations would be so I brought my daughter Makayla along because she goes to Kent State, but to…

Medina High School Senior Photography ~ High School Senior Photography ~ Sweet Adorable Bree ~ Medina Ohio
YAY! I am catching up on my blog…LOL I have a particular look I look for when searching for a model when I need one…and if I had to describe this model…Breana would fit the description to a “T”. Her gorgeous dark silky hair and her beautiful olive skin tone and her huge brown eyes…PERFECT…so when I got the call for a new high school senior photo session of course I get excited…and what’s more exciting is when you get to meet them in person…I love last minutes decisions when wardrobe is looked over and see their reactions to my visions and ideas…I had such fun with Bree on our…

Strongsville High School Senior ~ High School Senior Photography ~ Meet Carly…
…I watch my own kids grow up right before my eyes and I am amazed how fast it goes…when I was younger it never felt the year flew by…in fact I couldn’t wait for some of the years to fly by. I had the pleasure to photography two classmates’ daughter for her senior pictures. I went to school as earlier as elementary school with her mom and high school with both her mom and dad and was so excited when I got the phone call. Of course children look like their parents in some way or another but when you meet Carly she’s got the perfect combination of the both…

The Dread of January
I sit here very pleased with my business and my passion I have for what I do for a living but sometimes wonder if I can do more. I am trying to get my non-profit organization up and running but this is going to take time…my free photo shoots for family in needs and fundraisers are a start but it is harder to contact the fellow photographers and getting them on board is much more difficult that I anticipated. So I have been concentrated on my organization skills for my business right now. I currently have terrible bookkeeping skills and am amazed on how well I am doing {you should…

Meet Sean…Medina Photography…Medina High School Senior Photography
I have to say my favorite part of photography are the children…ALL ages…and the most enjoyment is high school seniors. I don’t say this because the younger kids are cuter and gigglier, I say this because I enjoy seeing them in who they’ve become and talk about their hopes and dreams. I get to witness two sides to these individuals… the first side is the shy quiet let’s-get-this-over-with individual to a happy-to-be-here and I’m-actually-having-fun individual who starts sharing his or her dreams. I remember this age so well…you expect so much out of your life and can’t wait to live it, that passion in your belly…mine was lost a while…

How a stranger can help you take time to reflect…
I find myself staying up later and later these days…no matter how early I say I am going to bed ~ it just never happens…and then I’m totally exhausted in the morning {I am not a morning person in the first place} and it makes it extremely difficult to combine work and getting the kids ready for school ~ quite the challenge when I need to be out the door to get them there on time. So after grabbing Frankie, Haley, and Harmonie bright and early and running to a location to check out lighting for a photo shoot one morning – I promised Dunkin Donuts after the location scouting…

I Always Need to be Inspired…
Here I am with the boredom of January. Not because of nothing to do or no places to go, but because this is the month that greets us photographers with fear…those photographers who have just recuperated from a busy season are hoping that 2013 will be good to us and they will persist to flourish in a business ~ more so than the year before; a business that has EXPANDED with talent and photographers popping up everywhere. This is the time I reflect on who I am as a photographer but mostly as an artist and where I want to be. I am constantly in the need to see a…
