Childhood Friend gets married…
When Heather called up the moment she was engaged she TOLD me I was photographing her wedding!!! YAY!!! I couldn’t be more happy for her…and she wanted to get married soon…and I had her date open…double YAY! I was so excited to see the entire family. My family and theirs have know each other since I was 2 years old…we won’t mention how long that’s been(!) But was so excited to be able to witness and capture this wedding!

A Gorgeous Summer Day For A Wedding…

When Families Return…
One of the best part of my job is a returning customer…to document their memories at a particular phase in their lives is such a blessing…and when I get returning customers I get all giddy….they are automatically comfortable with me and I love capturing the changes…witnesses who their family is molding together….love love love it! Grown up…
…it is amazing how fast time goes by…thinking back twenty years ago when I moved into my house and neighborhood it was so quiet with just a few families with kids…then fast forward 3 – 4 years and boom…kids everywhere…and then 5-10 years later they play everywhere and with everyone…neighbors have come and gone and some I haven’t seen since they have moved but one family I was able to keep in touch with after they moved away and even had the opportunity to take one of their son’s senior pictures…live many states away… Meet Jacob…he flew all the way here to Ohio from Texas to visit with his childhood…

Bestfriends…
I went through a divorce when my youngest was just a little baby…and just didn’t have the heart to go back to work outside my home…it was hard enough to give up every other weekend with my three children let alone the daytime as well…so I started baby sitting and yes it was a handful but out of it I gained other family members…we all did…Haley…Bill…and Jen…what would life be without Haley…LOL…but what my daughter gained was a built in best friend from day one…just months apart and under the age of one…look out world here they come…Fast forward 12 years and we come to these girls acting like sisters…

Fun ~ Loving Life Jenna…
…Meet Jenna…her and her mom went to school together and had so much fun! A Happy Photographer…
Nothing makes me more happy than when a family member calls me up and wants a photo session! And not just anyone! Jaime! She may be my cousin but we are honestly more like sisters…love her to pieces! I Hope Winter is Finally Past…
…but now is the time to share some of my winter sessions. There is nothing better than the contrast with snow and everything else in this world…and when you can get snowflakes in the mix…wow…it makes a magical picture. Missing Friendships…
My daughter made such wonderful friends with neighbors across the street and they are such a wonderful family…I would be able to see their adorable faces on a daily basis and I can honestly say I miss them. They moved a few years back and come back into town to visit family and their friends…and I love witnessing the excitement once these girls get together again…how I miss their giggles 🙂 I was lucky enough to photograph the family and boy how can one year be such a difference to the older one…sigh…watching her on a daily basis I don’t see the difference but only seeing her once a year…wow…how…

How Fast They Grow…
…I absolutely LoVe when my kids have the same friends since they were itty bitty…and see how they grow and mature into their own… …One of Frankie’s best friends Lucy is being such a sweet young lady…and then when I saw her sister which I can’t remember the last time I saw her at a school function…OMG…where does the time go? The “ho-hums” of January…
January brings mixed emotions for me…I am sad the kids are back at school and excited all at the same time…even sad when my busy season is now over and silently happy that I have a month to breathe…but love the craziness of what my busy season brings…It is so hard to find inspiration in January because of the dreary days…I try to get the kids outside to keep me shooting when I don’t have a photo shoot. New Year’s Eve is often seen as a time of regrowth…the chance to start all over…or improve what needs improved, but the older I’ve become the cliché’s of regular resolutions for the new year are no longer important to me. Changing One’s Perspective Can Be Make a Difference…
I feel photography is art…and love having almost every single photograph “off-entered”. But I also love changing my perspective. Photographing kids can be a difficult task to begin with but just changing one’s perspective can help give the emotion in the image…I love every form of photography…and almost every form of art, but when it comes to picture and the ones that grab my attention and love are those of a unique and different perspective.
