The Blogging Starts Again…
…wow… I had someone mention they checked out my website quite often and noticed I haven’t blogged in awhile…I am like really? Hmm I wonder how long it’s actually been…HOLY COW…since April/May…um…I really have no excuse…well yes I do…warm weather finally came…more sessions…kids home from school…and well…I am outside much more…so I will be dedicating myself to blog something every morning (don’t hold me to this…it is just an attempt haha)…so we will see what happens…no wonder why I am not caught up yet on this thing…but also impressed that someone even noticed…makes me a happy photographer… …so in attempt to get back on track I will finish up with…

Sisters…
I’ve watched these girls grow into such young ladies in what seems like overnight. I swear the older I get the faster time just seems to fly by. I will only see them once or twice and year if that and when I do it just amazes me how grown they are! And beautiful!!! When Sam called and asked for a session I squealed… YAY…just look at the pictures…these two are SO photogenic…the camera just loves them!

The Warmth of it All…
I am writing this blog post and looking at the soft glow of the warm sun and staring at the snow covered ground right now…Geez am I behind…but better late than never. I use “models” once in a while to try new locations and/or specific times during the day and I had the privilege of using the Hale kids…and Oh My Goodness!!! It Can’t Get Better Than This…
…there is nothing better than doing your job and then doing your job for family! I had the opportunity several times to photograph my niece Sydney…she was also the original face for Victoria Campbell Photography years ago and I just love having the privilege of capturing her every year and watch her grown into such a beautiful young woman. This year she is a high school senior…even though she is considered “new family” to me since meeting the hubs she nonetheless is family like they have been part of my entire life. One of the best part of my job is meeting new people. I cannot express enough how much I loved my photo session with Alayna and her mom Deb…such wonderful people! New Family Members
It is not everyday you get new family members… pets that is. My daughter falls in love with each and every hamster she get…unfortunately they never last longer than a year and a half at the most! Ugh…in the beginning it was tough to see her saddness when she lost one…but love the fact when she is ready to get another one. In the beginning when she lost “Lucy” she immediately wanted another one. Then came “Peachy” which all she did was compare the two…that was first mistake number 1 ~ they were completely different hamsters with completely different dispositions…but nonetheless I fell in love with the little guys myself.…

Friends for Life ~ Children Photography
Many children have a favorite stuffed bunny, bear, monkey, or puppy or even a blanket they adore, and bring almost everywhere. God forbid this object gets lost or left at home. I have personally run out to pick up “Bunny” late at night because somehow it was “forgotten”…can’t even imagine how when these little “Friends for Life” are loved so much. My oldest daughter was attached to her blanket that belonged in her crib…a thick comforter that over the years turned into a see-through thin piece of material that faded terribly but you could tell it was well loved. I sit here very pleased with my business and my passion I have for what I do for a living but sometimes wonder if I can do more. Nordonia High School Senior – Stephanie
Here is beautiful Stephanie Miller…she has so much energy and love for life. I had the pleasure to watch her grow from a cute adorable little girl into a beautiful young woman. She is one of the twins I posted a few days back…and what a joy was it to photograph her…and lucky me for having such a beautiful subject…she photographs so well. Double the fun!
Today I got to enjoy a photo shoot twice as much! I was able to capture 2 high school seniors from Nordonia…TWINS. And not just any twins…a pair of twins I knew since they were itty bitty…all grown up now but such a blast to photograph them. Being a twin myself I enjoy watching other twins interact with one another…there is something to be said about a bond among twins, and with my personal experience I couldn’t agree more. Today I am posting the images of the both of them and within the next couple of days I will post their individual photographs.

The Beauty is in Children…
…I get so happy and excited when I have the chance to photograph children…the pure innocence and the “authentic” soul of an individual is when they are young and yet not truly seeing the world for what it is. And when I capture that one image from every sessions and I say “Now that’s a keeper”…I know I captured their true beauty. But then I have the opportunity to photograph older children and high school seniors and love when I can still see their inner beauty. My favorite quote from Dorothea Lange is ” Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.” I love that…
