What Would It Be Like Without Family? Medina Family Photography
My mom’s side of the family is teeny-tiny compared to my dad’s side…I feel such a special bond with my cousin and my aunt its hard to explain. I miss them, but when we do get together its nothing but laughs! I still see my little cousin as well, my little cousin, but she is all grown now with her own family and I couldn’t be happier for her. She now gets to experience that love you cannot describe when it comes to the love for your children. I believe I am blessed with the best family any one can experience…throughout our lives we change for the obstacles that come our…

My Sweet Haley Baley – Medina Photography
This is my daughter’s best friend…she calls her her sister… Francesca has to write in her journal for school and one day she picked the topic of Haley to write about and I wish to share to you what she said…too cute: Haley and I are just like sisters. We’ve been through a lot together. We met when we were 4 months old. When I was little I thought Haley as just one of my friends but she’s not my friend, she’s my sister. We both do the same things. We have a lot of sleepovers and it’s always the BEST time. Now I realize what she means to me.…

The Hetz Family – Medina Photography
…Check out this gorgeous family…pale skin…freckled face…blue eye kids…they can’t get any cuter than this! This photo session took place in the summer…I know I am a bit behind…UGH! But nonetheless I am catching up. These are my cousin’s kids!!! They are beautiful and was so up to the task when I asked their grandma if I can borrow them for the day…I think they were more upset when the photo shoot was over more than I was…they have to take the cake when it came to cooperation…love them to pieces. And I am loving how my new templates are looking to help “pop” the photos!

Masanga Family – Medina Photography – Family Photography
My sister and her family came in to visit us for 2 weeks this summer and I had the honor to photograph the family ( 🙂 ) I cannot express enough how happy I was to do this…one, I never see them that much (they live in Oregon; two, I was able to capture the kids and I have to believe we all had fun…and three, I have memories 🙂 . Here are some of my favorites:

A Myers Gathering…Medina Photography – Family Photography
Watching a young couple in love is joy, but watching an aging couple in love is bliss. When a couple has cherished their marriage for 50 years, it certainly is a story that shines…I had the privilege to photograph my aunt and uncle and their entire lifetime of their love…it begins with them! These are a few of my favorites from that session.

Summer Picnics
…I love picnics…even if its in my own backyard…nothing like grabbing a blanket and a few sandwiches and sodas and relaxing in the summer light (shade for me these days). Frankie had a friend over for this picnic so of course I could resist and brought my camera with me…the joy to be a 10 year old again. I love when she knows I can still hear everything she has to say even when I have a camera attached to my eye…she sees right through it but every time I click the shutter button I hope I capture that moment. Her expressions when tell a story is pure joy! This…

Lucas Twins – Chagrin Falls Children Photography
I had the privilege of growing up with a twin…there is no comparison of the connection I have with my twin sister compared to my other siblings…don’t get me wrong I love them dearly and am very close to each and everyone of them but my twin sister I just don’t know what I would do without her. {Yes Val I am saying this about you lol} We knew how to complete each other’s sentence when we were little and even had out own “language” no one really understood…now as adults it is the same… …A few months back an old classmate of mine contacted me through Facebook and wanted her twins…

Family finally gets together…
…this past year has been hard on my family with the passing of our dad and grandmother. My sister from Oregon was able to come with her husband for a visit. Along with my brother for a short few days with his family. With all of us spread around it’s quite difficult to get all of us in the same spot…this year we did it…here are a few highlights from everyone’s visits. These are all the nieces and nephews…well with one exception of one little boy…I think he had enough pictures at that moment…can’t believe how fast they are growing. These three cousins are so similar in so many ways…love…

Hudson High School Student – Nordonia High School
Talk about natural beauty!!! Courtney came to her photo session with her mom and we had fun! My kind of gal! Courtney has naturally beautiful skin…naturally curly hair…gorgeous lips… the perfect face for the camera…and the camera did love her! I absolutely love when a client is up for anything! It makes my job easier but most importantly more fun! Thank you for a wonderful photo shoot Courtney and Laurie 🙂

Nordonia High School Senior – Mikey
Now here is Mikey…the other half of the twin session! Such a cutie…and just like Stephanie I was able to see how much he has grown from a little boy into a young handsome man! I wish both of them such luck and fun in what their life and future has to offer them.

Nordonia High School Senior – Stephanie
Here is beautiful Stephanie Miller…she has so much energy and love for life. I had the pleasure to watch her grow from a cute adorable little girl into a beautiful young woman. She is one of the twins I posted a few days back…and what a joy was it to photograph her…and lucky me for having such a beautiful subject…she photographs so well. I wish Stephanie well in her future endeavors after graduation and I am pretty sure I will be able to see her continue to mature into that beautiful woman she is becoming.

Double the fun!
Today I got to enjoy a photo shoot twice as much! I was able to capture 2 high school seniors from Nordonia…TWINS. And not just any twins…a pair of twins I knew since they were itty bitty…all grown up now but such a blast to photograph them. Being a twin myself I enjoy watching other twins interact with one another…there is something to be said about a bond among twins, and with my personal experience I couldn’t agree more. Today I am posting the images of the both of them and within the next couple of days I will post their individual photographs.

The Beauty is in Children…
…I get so happy and excited when I have the chance to photograph children…the pure innocence and the “authentic” soul of an individual is when they are young and yet not truly seeing the world for what it is. And when I capture that one image from every sessions and I say “Now that’s a keeper”…I know I captured their true beauty. But then I have the opportunity to photograph older children and high school seniors and love when I can still see their inner beauty. My favorite quote from Dorothea Lange is ” Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.” I love that…

How Quickly the Years Go By…
…it always amazes me how time flies! As days can drag on and you may wish one to be over with already your almost blindsided by the reality of it all. With a blink of an eye looking back time goes by ever too quickly. Take Emily for instant. I can remember her mom’s baby shower and how she was technically in labor that day…and when she was brought home from the hospital…so small…and when she FINALLY could say my name [well actually she said Wicky] but it just feels like it was yesterday. I have my own kids but I see the process daily…micro daily as that matter lol…
